Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Sonam, Arjun and other celebs slam article that addresses Priyanka as 'scam artist' for making Nick Jonas marry her

New York Magazine's The Cut has taken down a defamatory article on Priyanka Chopra after it received widespread criticism and backlash by not only the common people on the social media but also by celebrities from Bollywood as well as Hollywood. The article was headlined “Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s Love for Real?" and called Priyanka a ‘scam artist’ who allegedly duped the young and impressionable Nick Jonas into marrying her while all he wanted was a fling.

The piece written by Mariah Smith went on to suggest that Nick married into a ‘'fraudulent relationship against his will'. After spewing venom in more than 1,000 words about the supposedly ‘fake’ relationship between Priyanka and Nick the writer went on to advice Nick, “Nick, if you're reading this, find that horse and gallop away as fast as you can!" The writer received immense backlash on social media and so did the publication for carrying such a racist, sexist and ageist piece which is nothing short of a figment of imagination of the author.

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot on December 1 and 2 in a fairytale wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The two looked absolutely breathtaking in their wedding finery and looked oh-so-in-love. Their Delhi reception that was held last night was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi too who wished the newlyweds a happy married life and blessed them.
