Sushant Singh Rajput donates Rs 1 crore to Kerala flood victims after request from fan

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput donated an amount of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for Kerala flood victims after a fan requested him to help the residents of the state, who are recuperating from the devastating calamity. In a post on Instagram, Sushant shared a screenshot of the transaction that he made in favour of those affected by the ruinous floods in Kerala.

“As promised my friend, @subhamranjan66 , what you wanted to do has been done. You made me do this, so be extremely proud of yourself. You delivered exactly when it was needed. Lots and lots of love. FLY. Cheers,” Sushant wrote in his post that has already garnered over 1 lakh likes.

On the comments section of the post, Sushant has been garnering a whole lot of love as his fans and followers applauded him for helping those struck by the catastrophe in Kerala. His admirers from the state also thanked him for donating money as one user wrote, “Thank you Sushant! Big love and respect from Kerala!”

Another fan explained his plight, saying that life will never be the same ever again and that Kerala is grateful to the 32-year-old actor for his contribution.

“Thankyou for donating to Kerala. Every penny is priceless for us now. We are going to build our lives from almost nothing again. We will succeed and we will survive. Kerala will come back stronger with unforgettable memories of bravery, compassion, love and pride. And we will remember the angels who watched over us in the hour of need,” Sushant’s fan wrote on the comments section of his post.

Several areas in Kerala were disastrously affected by the flood while thousands of people were trapped in their homes in Ranni, Aranmula and Kozhencherry. Rescue operations with the aid of defence personnel were also held continuously.

Sushant, last seen in the lead role in Raabta, is currently busy with multiple projects including Drive, Kedarnath, Sonchiriya and Kizie Aur Manny.
