The Kapil Sharma Show is returning to television after a brief break. Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the bi-weekly show also features Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and Archana Puran Singh. Fans are super excited for The Kapil Sharma Show. According to the latest reports, the show will premiere on August 21 on Sony TV. An official confirmation is awaited.
As per the buzz, The Kapil Sharma Show is expected to go on air with Akshay Kumar as the first guest. The Bollywood superstar will reportedly mark his presence on the show to promote his film, Bell Bottom. As of now, the film will be the biggest and first release in theatres after the second COVID-19 lockdown. Bigg Boss_Tak tweeted, "Actor #AkshayKumar will be the first guest of the #TheKapilSharmaShow. He will be seen promoting his upcoming Bell Bottom movie. Show to be started by 21st August."

Akshay has been a regular guest on The Kapil Sharma Show. Akshay along with Katrina Kaif and Rohit Shetty promoted Sooryavanshi before the lockdown was imposed. He also promoted Laxmii with Kiara Advani on the show. Sooryavanshi is yet to release and Laxmii premiered on Disney+ Hotstar.
Sumona Chakravarti, who played Bhuri in The Kapil Sharma Show, will reportedly not be a part of the latest season.
