Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Rajat Barmecha recreate ‘Friends’ moment on the iconic couch of the show

To mark the milestone 25th anniversary of American television sitcom Friends, Comedy Central is creating an unforgettable experience for fans to celebrate one of the most-watched shows in television history. The makers have created 30 replicas of the iconic orange couch in the Central Perk Café, which is an integral part of the show.

Initially, these replicas were sent to countries where the show was quite popular including the US, UAE, and Australia. Now, the couch will travel across cities and colleges of India so that fans get an opportunity to sit on it and click pictures.

As soon as the couch reached a Mumbai studio three actor friends Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Rajat Barmecha, who are also big fans of the show met and took the opportunity of clicking a picture with the couch.

Talking about their friendship, Karan and Rithvik have been friends for many years. Later on, Rajat joined the group. The trio grew closer during a trip they made to Rome last year.

Friends is an American television sitcom starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwinner. The show revolved around six friends in their 20’s and 30’s who live in Manhattan, New York City. It on-aired from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004, lasting ten seasons.
