From Hina Khan to Shilpa Shinde: Here are a few TV actors whose role ended in an unexpected way!

The lead actors of Indian TV shows enjoy maximum attention from their viewers; all thanks to their respective on-screen characters. In fact, there were times when these actors used to be a part of TV shows for many years wherein they used to enjoy their popularity for years and years. However, things have changed now.

In the current scenario, one thing which can’t be ignored is the fact that the TV actors’ roles are cut short abruptly to make way for a new entry or a new storyline. For instance, Hina Khan who played the iconic character of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 had the strangest exit from the show. In the show, she was shown falling into the Ganges while trying to push Prerna (played by Erica Fernandes). Since then, her character has vanished from the show. In reality, the actress has taken a break from her TV show to focus on her Bollywood dreams. There is a possibility of her coming back to the show. Take a look at other actors’ role which ended abruptly:

Aalisha Panwar: Aalisha played triple roles in Arjun Bijlani and Nia Sharma starrer Ishq Mein Marjawan. Her character Tara was one of the strongest female characters, who never feared death. But guess what; when she wanted to exit from the show, the makers planned a simple storyline wherein she dies with just three shots.

Jasmin Bhasin: Apparently, Jasmin was initially told that her character in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji will not get married at least for a year. Surprisingly, within six months of its launch, the makers decided to take a leap of five years. The actress was asked to play the role of a mother which she refused to do it. Jasmin was overnight replaced by another TV actress Donal Bisht.

Meera Deosthale: Meera was part of serial Udaan for almost three years before quitting the show. The 22-year-old actress was asked to play the role of a mother of an 18-year-old girl. Obviously, the actress had no choice but to exit the show. Later on, she was replaced by Balikavadhu fame Toral Rasputra.

Gaurav Sareen: Gaurav played the lead role in serial Krishna Chali London and his role was quite appreciated by the masses. One fine day the actor got to know that his character will be ended in the show. Surprisingly, he was not even aware of this development. He got to know about it just a day before the makers shot his exit scene.

Shilpa Shinde: Apparently, Ms. Shinde was unhappy with the show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain and therefore decided to quit. On the other hand, makers were finding it difficult to get a replacement and so they shot for a few months with her body-double. Interesting; isn’t it?
