Last week, Family Time with Kapil featuring comedian and actor Kapil Sharma grabbed eyeballs as the show opened to lukewarm reviews. Kapil failed to strike a chord with the audience, and viewers were hopeful that things will fall into place with the second episode, however, chances are grim.
The latest episode will not air this Sunday, April 8, 2018, and the comedian's fans will not see him this weekend. Reportedly, Family Time with Kapil faced a setback as Kapil is unwell, henceforth, the team could not shoot for the show and there is no bank of episodes to bail them out of this tricky situation. Therefore, the airing of the fresh episode has been canned.
While many have claimed that cancelling of an episode airing is due to Kapil's recent Twitter controversy where he is embroiled in an ugly spat with a website's editor. However, other reports say the episode's cancellation has got nothing to do with Kapil's recent Twitter controversy.
This entire drama kickstarted when Kapil went on a spree of abusive tweets. The actor's behaviour shocked many but later Kapil put up another tweet clarifying that his account was hacked. However, later he further tweeted that his account wasn't hacked and he only tweeted the same!
After ranting and abusing Kapil even filed a police complaint against his former managers Preeti Simoes and Neeti Simoes. Kapil claims that the managers misrepresented him. He also called them ‘privy to his personal life’.
For the uninitiated, Preeti and Kapil were dating before the couple parted ways two years back.
Amidst all this, Preeti Simoes spoke to PeepingMoon.Com. She said, “I really don’t know what he’s tweeting and saying. But I am very worried about his mental health. And his family should actually take care of him right now. Because they do not understand that this is not normal what Kapil is going through.”
