Box Office: Avengers: Endgame creates history on opening day in India as it records humongous numbers

Avengers: Endgame has witnessed a historic period at the box office in India on its opening day as the film has apparently earned close to Rs 50 crore on the first day of its release, as per a box office report. Tickets to the film were made available online earlier this week and booking websites crashed as incredible numbers of impatient fans logged in for tickets.  On online ticketing platform BookMyShow, the film clocked the highest number of advance tickets sold for a Hollywood film and was on its way to hit 4 million in ticket sales on the first day of its release on Friday. The film hit a peak of 18 tickets per second on the first day of advance sales.
