In a shocking and sudden twist, Salman Khan had announced that the finale of Bigg Boss 14 is closer than expected. The finale week is going on and housemates Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Eijaz Khan, Jasmin Bhasin, Rahul Vaidya and Nikki Tamboli are in the race to make it to the top 4. On Thursday, the house got its second finalist who joined Eijaz in the finale.
The housemates continued with the Shark Attack task and got involved in ugly verbal spats with each other. There was no eviction on Thursday. 2 more contestants will now get a chance to make it to the finale.

Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 61 of Bigg Boss 14:
- The episode began with Rubina suggesting that everyone should do household chores according to their free will. She said this will help in breaking the monotony. However, Rahul objected saying it will lead to confusion. Rahul and Eijaz disagreed with Rubina's suggestion. The housemates got into a heated argument over duties. Abhinav said Rubina's words weren't put across well.
- In the bedroom, Nikki, Rahul and Jasmin spoke about how Rubina dominates Abhinav. Nikki and Rahul called Abhinav a nice person and felt Rubina could be responsible for their separation. Later, Rubina offered the omelet she prepared for Eijaz. Rahul said they might be for only a few people.
- Jasmin, Rahul and Eijaz got into a heated fight. Jasmin told Eijaz, ‘Aapka bhaade ka character hai’ when he said she is being influenced by others. On the other hand, Abhinav and Nikki had a fight over duties. She said his relationship with Rubina is fake.
- Bigg Boss announced that the Shark Attack task would resume in some time. In the garden area, Nikki tried to block Rubina's access to the boat. However, when the buzzer rang, Rubina was the one who was left without a seat. She engaged in a verbal spat with Rahul who called her 'safed bandariya'. Rubina told Eijaz isn't doing his job as a sanchalak properly. In this round, Rubina went out of the race to the finale.

- In the next round, Rahul went out of the race. He got injured while getting onto the boat. Without trying much, he decided that Nikki, Jasmin and Abhinav will qualify for the next round. The boat was pushed into the shark's mouth. Bigg Boss said the round is still on. Rahul explained the situation to Bigg Boss.
- The second last round had Abhinav, Jasmin and Nikki. When the buzzer rang, there was a clash between Abhinav and Jasmin. The latter claimed that the former pushed her with his back. Abhinav clearly denied pushing her. Jasmin applied force to secure the seat for herself but Abhinav tried to save his chair.

- Amid this, Rubina and Jasmin got into a heated fight. Rahul intervened. Abhinav lashed out at Rahul for calling his wife 'bandariya'. The singer further supported Jasmin and called Rubina 'naagin'. Out of frustration, Abhinav yelled at Jasmin and Rubina to maintain silence. Jasmin settled down but was still adamant that Abhinav pushed her.
- Abhinav then asked her to try to apply force on Nikki and get her out of the race. However, at the end of the round, Abhinav and Nikki were seated on the chairs.
- In the final round, Abhinav quickly sat on the last chair. They discussed why they deserve to be in the finale. Later, Nikki tried to push Abhinav off the chair but he put forth a strong game. After a long tussle, Abhinav was declared as the winner of the task. Nikki broke down and Eijaz consoled her. Rubina hugged Abhinav and Jasmin lauded him for playing well.

- In the bathroom, Rubina and Eijaz told Nikki that her parents and fans will be proud of her, Nikki apologised to Abhinav for hurling abuses at him and saying wrong things about him. She admitted that Abhinav is a nice person.
- After everyone left, Abhinav spoke to Rubina about her suggestion regarding the household duties. He told her to not do so in the future, Rubina said she wanted to break the monotony.
