'Bigg Boss 14' to air for 30 minutes instead of an hour? Here's the truth

Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 14 is just around the corner. While fans are excited to watch the show for a wholesome dose of entertainment, rumours surfaced that the makers have altered the duration of each episode. It was being said that Bigg Boss 14 will be aired for 30 minutes instead of an hour. Now, according to a leading daily, the channel on which Bigg Boss 14 will air, has issued a statement.  

In the statement in a leading daily, the channel mentioned, "The news about the on air time of Bigg Boss to be 30 minutes is untrue. The show will air for its usual 1-hour duration Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm starting 3rd October."

On September 24, the makers of Bigg Boss 14 held a virtual press conference. Host Salman introduced the audience to the changes in format and unveiled the additional amenities that will be provided to the contestants. Promising that the show will give a fitting reply to 2020 and the Coronavirus pandemic, the makers have included a gym, mall, spa, theatre and much more for the inmates. The first contestant of Bigg Boss 14, Jaan Kumar Sanu, was introduced by Salman and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. Jaan is the son of renowned singer Kumar Sanu. 

Bigg Boss 14 can be watched at 10:30 pm on weekdays and at 9 pm on weekends from October 3.
