In the first episode of Bigg Boss 13, host Salman Khan introduced Ameesha Patel as the Malkin of the house, who will be assigning tasks to the housemates. Her presence has surely spiced up the show. But let us tell you that Ameesha was not the original choice of the makers.
If reports are to believed, the first choice of the makers was Mallika Sherawat. In fact, the actress also had few meetings with the makers to understand her role in the show. However, things couldn’t materialize since Mallika was demanding a hefty amount of money which the makers couldn’t afford. And this is how, Ameesha was brought it!

For the unversed, Ameesha will keep a close watch on the inmates and will be responsible for maintaining decorum in the heated house.
BB 13 premiered on September 29, 2019. As per the makers, they will be introducing a tedha twist withing the first four weeks of the show and yes, we are surely waiting to find out!
