Applause Entertainment announces Hansal Mehta's 'Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga' as 3rd instalment of acclaimed franchise

Following the global success of the Scam series, Applause Entertainment unveils the next chapter, 'Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga,' delving into one of India’s most notorious financial scandals. Based on the book 'Sahara: The Untold Story by Tamal Bandyopadhyay,' the series will be produced in association with Studio Next and directed by Hansal Mehta.

'Scam 2010' narrates the rise and fall of Subrata Roy, a prominent businessman engulfed in allegations ranging from chit-fund manipulations to fake investors, culminating in his arrest in 2014. With approximately 25,000 crore rupees remaining unclaimed, the aftermath of the scandal continues to resonate today.
