'People called me GayJo or a snake emoji popped up, which part of me feels like a snake,' asks Karan Johar to trolls on the first episode of Koffee With Karan 7

Karan Johar has returned with the 7th season of his popular chat show, Koffee With Karan. The first episode premiered on Disney+Hotstar today at 7 pm. It featured Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the guests. As Karan opened the new season, he revealed talking to Alia about the possibility of ending the show after receiving criticism and dealing with trolls during the pandemic.

When Ranveer asked him the reason behind saying so, the filmmaker said, "We as an industry were vilified and put into a dungeon for 2 years. I went through a lot and it was not an easy time. There were snake emojis popping up whenever Koffee With Karan was mentioned. I never thought we would come back as there was a lot of attack."

Reacting to it, Ranveer said Karan shouldn't be bothered about faceless and anonymous people. Replying to that, the filmmaker shared, "I don't know there is a snake emoji that comes with KJo. They either call me GayJo or that snake emoji comes out. Which part of me seems or feels like a snake, I don't know. I would like to tell all that I am far from them and scared of them too."

Well, ignoring trolls, Karan is finally back with our favourite Koffee With Karan!
