As she completes 10 years in the film industry, Alia Bhatt ventured into production with her own company called Eternal Sunshine Productions. The first film to come out of the production house is Darlings. Starring Alia along with Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew, the dark comedy will premiere directly on Netflix.
The much-anticipated teaser of Darlings was shared by the makers on social media today. "Kya ek meindak aur bichhoo dost ho sakte hain? Darlings, watch on 5th August, only on Netflix," the makers wrote while sharing the teaser on social media.
Darlings revolves around the lives of a mother-daughter duo, played by Shefali and Alia, who are trying to find their place in Mumbai, seeking courage and love in exceptional circumstances while fighting against all odds.
Darlings is produced under Red Chillies Entertainment & Eternal Sunshine Productions. Produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Gaurav Verma, the film is the debut full-length feature for director Jasmeet K Reen.
