After two successful seasons of Aarya, Ram Madhvani has kickstarted work on the show's third edition. Headlined by Sushmita Sen, the Disney+Hotstar's show revolves around Aarya and how her life changed after the death of her husband Tej, a drug lord.
Now, almost six months after Aarya 2's premiere, Ram and his team shifted their focus to the development of Aarya 3. Sharing the news, the production house wrote on Instagram, "Aarya Season 3 in Development Creator @madhvaniram, @sushmitasen47 , @disneyplushotstar & @endemolshineind collaborate once again to escalate the excitement "

Apart from Sushmita, the Aarya franchise stars Vikas Kumar, Ankur Bhatia, Sikandar Kher, Maya Sarao, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Viren Vazirani, Virti Vaghani and Pratyaksh Panwar along with many others.

The second season of Aarya was released on December 10, 2021. The first one premiered on June 19, 2020. Aarya marked Sushmita's return to acting after a decade and her debut on OTT. The International Emmy-nominated show is an official adaption of the hit Dutch series Penoza.
