Is Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot’s Red Notice getting a sequel? Director Rawson Thurber reveals deets

Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds’ film Red Notice is still holding on to a top spot on Netflix’s Top 10 list, so thoughts of a sequel are bound to come across everyone’s minds including the makers as well as the fans. Director Rawson Thurber has now given hints to the possibility of a follow-up. Thurber told an online portal that he is not yet working on a script for a sequel, but that doesn’t exactly mean progress isn’t being made on the feature.

Talking to the portal, Thurber said, “I’m not working on the script for a sequel…I’ve certainly been noodling with what I would do for a follow-up and not to telltale out of school but yeah Netflix…we’ve been having those conversations.”

Thank you thank you thank you to to everyone around the world who has embraced the joy, fun, thrills and hijinks we hoped to bring to your homes with RED NOTICE. Grateful. Humbled.”

Red Notice, as it stands is very much a standalone film as the mission is completed and wrapped up, tying up all the loose ends. However, Reynolds’ Nolan Booth made sure to leave things open ended as far at the main characters were concerned hinting at a sequel in the near future.
