In the month of August, Barun Sobti had exclusively informed PeepingMoon.com that he has signed a progressive romantic project. Back then, the actor said the project will go on floors soon. Now, it seems Barun has started shooting for that progressive romantic project. On Thursday, Barun announced his upcoming rom-com series titled A Cold Mess. Co-starring Ridhi Dogra, the show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and will stream on her OTT platform ALT Balaji.
Sharing a boomerang video with Ridhi, Barun wrote, "Being shot in beautiful locales of Belgrade, Serbia; starring Ridhi Dogra and Barun Sobti; #AColdMess is a story spanning 8 years of Karan and Liz who realize love is nothing but #AColdMess! Another love story franchise from the makers of Broken But Beautiful…this is an ode to happier messier love! Filming begins; show streaming soon on @ALTBalaji!"

A Cold Mess is helmed by Tanveer Bookwala’s Ding Infinity. Reportedly, the series is a baffling take on modern relationships featuring both their journeys. With the concept of urban loneliness, old school classics, flings, and changing definitions of love, the story showcases a beautiful tale of two souls who come from two different worlds and endorse two starkly opposite ideas about romance.
While Barun and Ridhi are the protagonists, the rest of the cast is yet to be announced. The actors shared the screen space in Voot Select's Asur and have reunited for the second season of the thriller.
