Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's film Shershaah is taking the digital route and will release on August 12. Ahead of the trailer launch, the makers of Shershaah are unfolding different chapters of Sidharth's character Captain Vikram Batra's life. After sharing a poster that spoke about Param Vir Chakra awardee's dream, Sidharth and Kiara posted a still from Shershaah that gave a glimpse of their love story.
Kiara plays the role of Sidharth's life partner in Shershaah. Sharing the still, Kiara wrote, "The only promise that matters is the one made between two hearts and this story shows that some promises last an entire lifetime and then more." In the picture, the actress can be seen in a simple white and pink salwar kameez.
Shershaah is directed by Vishnuvardhan, written by Sandeep Srivastava and produced by Karan Johar under his banner of Dharma Productions. The film pays tribute to late captain Vikram Batra, who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery during the 1999 Kargil war.
The film will release on Amazon Prime Video.
