PeepingMoon, exclusively on March 06, had informed its readers that Farhan Akhtar's Toofaan is heading for a digital release. The film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the sports film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak and Hussain Dalal. Today, the makers of Toofaan shared a new poster featuring Farhan as a boxer and announced the release date.
Toofaan will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 21. Farhan, on Instagram, wrote, "Toofaan Uthega! Catch the teaser on 12th March at @primevideoin World premiere - May 21." Toofaan is produced by the actor along with Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment.
