Bobby Deol completed 25 years in Bollywood in 2020. The actor marked the milestone by making a major shift from films to the web with not just one but two projects. One of them was Prakash Jha's web series titled Aashram. Bobby played the role of Baba Nirala of Kashipur in the series that revolved around self-proclaimed Godmen and their unknown dark crimes that are hidden under the wrapping of spirituality. While Aashram opened to mixed reviews from critics, it was appreciated by the audience, thanks to Bobby's performance.
Now, there comes in a piece of good news for fans of Bobby and Aashram. The makers of the thriller will release the second part on the occasion of Diwali. Rahul Raut, a renowned journalist, on Twitter, informed that Aashram part 2 will premiere on MX Player on November 11, 2020. "Bobby Deol is returning as Kashipur Waale Baba this Diwali weekend...@prakashjha27's #Aashram second part premieres 11th November on @MXPlayer!!" Rahul tweeted.

Produced and directed by Prakash, Aashram season 1 also starred Aaditi Pohankar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Tridha Choudhury, Vikram Kochhar, Tushar Pandey, Sachin Shroff, Anuritta K Jha and Rajeev Siddhartha in pivotal roles. Aashram 1 released on August 28, 2020.
