After much wait, the makers of the web show Mirzapur confirmed that the second season will premiere on October 23 this year. Now, as the date is inching closer, Amazon Prime Video, on their social media, are sharing teasers of the characters we will be meeting soon. After Pankaj Tripathi and Divyenndu, its time to enter Mirzapur with Guddu bhaiyya aka Ali Fazal.
In the teaser shared by Amazon, Guddu bhaiyya is all charged up to avenge the death of his brother Bablu (Vikrant Massey) and wife Sweety (Shriya Pilgaonkar). He is seen firing bullets while the faces of his nemesis Munna (Divyenndu) and Kaleen Bhaiyya (Pankaj) appear in the background. Discharging his weapon, Guddu Bhaiyya says, "Humara uddesh ek hi hai, jaan se maarenge, kyunki maarenge tabhi jeet payenge."
Mirzapur 2 also stars Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Vijay Varma, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Amit Sial, Anjum Sharma, Sheeba Chaddha, Manu Rishi Chadha and Rajesh Tailang. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh under the banner Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur season 1 released in 2018 on Amazon Prime Video. It revolved around the world of drugs, guns, lawlessness and mafia dons in Uttar Pradesh. Mirzapur 2 will pick up from where the first season concluded.
