Have you seen the trailer of Netflix's Baahubali: Before the Beginning?

After the tremendous success of Baahubali: The Conclusion, the makers of the film series have found a distinct way to keep the Baahubali fans entertained. It was being said that a prequel to Baahubali is in the works and it's going to create more excitement among audience.

This prequel is actually a Netflix original series that the makers are going to release soon. Based on Anand Neelakantan's book, The Rise of Sivagami, it's been planned in two seasons, with one of them being titled as Baahubali: Before the Beginning.

Netflix even dropped the trailer of the prequel. However, one could see nothing new, only a few juxtaposition-ed shots from the previous two Baahubali films. What's more? SS Rajamouli, the director of Baahubali series, isn't going to direct it. However, the show is being made with his consent and active participation in the film. As for direction, Deva Katta and Praveen Sataru are going to co-direct the series.

While talking to the media, Rajamouli explained his excitement about the series and said, "I am very excited that this is being adapted as a Netflix Original Series. With Netflix as our partner, we have the opportunity to create a rich and riveting series and take this quintessential Indian epic to the world, which is very gratifying to me as a storyteller".

Apart from a successful Sacred Games, and an already hyped Ghoul, Netflilx has also joined hands with Shah Rukh Khan for a spy drama, titled The Bard of Blood, which will also feature Emraan Hashmi.
