Ghoul trailer: All intense and chilling, this Radhika Apte show is the horror Indians missed on screen

Netflix has dropped the trailer of its next Indian series, titled Ghoul. It's a three episode long horror series featuring Manav Kaul and Radhika Apte in the lead. Ghoul marks the second collaboration of Netflix with Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Films, popular Blumhouse Studios and Ivanhoe Studios.

The trailer has come as a surprise to all Kashyap fans who were already rooting for his latest Netflix release, Sacred Games, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiui and Radhika Apte. The social media is filled with praises for the Ghoul trailer, which shows Radhika as a cop interrogating a person who practices demonic antics and reveals the cops' most hidden secrets. While Kashyap had made it like a film, Netflix broke the motion and made Ghoul a mini-series of three episodes instead. The show will be premiered with all the episodes on August 24 in 190 countries, including India.

Earlier, talking about the series to the media, Vikramditya Motwane, Kashyap's partner in Phantom Films said, "Ghoul is an elevated horror narrative from India... a first in class, edge-of-your-seat horror series that we are incredibly proud of".

This is Radhika's third show on Netflix. She has worked on another original Indian web-series, titled Lust Stories, before Ghoul and Sacred Games.
