Kamal Haasan tests positive for COVID-19 after returning from his US trip, isolated in the hospital

Kamal Haasan has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor-politician informed fans and followers about the same with a post on his Twitter account. Kamal shared a tweet that informed he recently returned from a US trip and developed a 'slight cough' post that.  After the examination, he tested positive for coronavirus.

“The pandemic is not over yet," he reminded everyone. "There was a slight cough after returning from the US trip. Govt infection was confirmed on examination. I am isolated in the hospital. Realize that the epidemic is not over yet and everyone is safe," read his tweet in Tamil.

As soon as Kamal informed about testing positive for the virus, wishes poured in from all over the world on Twitter. Several fans and friends wished for a speedy recovery for the actor. 

On the work front, Kamal will next be seen in Vikram. The makers Vikram unveiled the ‘first glance’ of the film ahead of the actor’s birthday on November 6.
