Rajinikanth is back in action

Everyone’s beloved Thalaiva, Rajinikanth is back in action. It was reported previously that the makers of his upcoming film Annaatthe had pushed forward the shooting schedule keeping in mind health concerns for the actor due to the pandemic. They were to start shooting from October 23 and work on a massive set at Ramoji Film City had started. Now, almost two months later, they have resumed shooting with a 45-day schedule at the same location. Nayanthara who plays Rajinikanth’s wife and Keerthy Suresh who plays his sister have also resumed shoot. A tabloid quoted a source that said, “It will be an intense final leg with lots of action and drama. The entire first half is already in the cans.”

Kajal Aggarwal joins ‘Acharya’ shoot with husband Gautam Kitchlu, Chiranjeevi extends a warm welcome 

Kajal Aggarwal joined the shooting of her upcoming film Acharya starring Chiranjeevi in the lead after tying the knot with Gautam Kitchlu. Gautam accompanied her to the sets and was heartily welcomed by Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi along with the cast and crew welcomed the couple with a cake and bouquets. The shooting is underway in Hyderabad. Photos of the couple from the sets went viral on social media.

 Vignesh Shivan welcomes Vijay Sethupathi for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal's first schedule

Vignesh Shivan’s first schedule of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will begin in Hyderabad soon. The director took to Instagram to post a video with his lead hero Vijay Sethupathi. In the video, Vijay and Vignesh can be seen throwing bouquets to each other in a hotel room.

Sharing the video, Vignesh wrote, “Hero entry & Some exchange of love. Welcome back Herovaeee. Always special to work wit you :) to be in your vicinity !!! Looking forward to make something better than before (sic)."

VJ Chitra's husband Hemanth arrested for abetment to suicide

Tamil actress VJ Chitra's husband Hemnath has reportedly been arrested for abetment to suicide almost a week after her death. VJ Chitra, best known for her performance in the Tamil show Pandian Stores, was found dead at a hotel room in Chennai's Nazrathpet on December 9.

According to reports, Hemanth had expressed anger on seeing Chitra enacting a few scenes in her show. "Hemnath did not like a scene she had enacted on TV. On the day she died, he had also pushed her," Assistant Commissioner of Police Sudarshan told a news channel. Earlier, Chitra's mother Vijaya had shared with TNM that she was "beaten to death… She spoke to me on Tuesday saying she was on a show and that it would be late. The morning her father-in-law called sharing the news. How could it be?"
