After nearly five months since the shoot of films stopped due to the Coronavirus pandemic, work on Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 will reportedly be resuming from August 15. The much-anticipated action thriller also featuring Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon was scheduled to release in theatres on October 23. However, it seems the makers are planning to push forward the date.
According to reports, director Prashanth Neel and his team are toying with the idea of releasing it on Sankranthi 2021 weekend. The latest report has it that nearly 15 days shoot is pending. The makers are yet to issue an official statement on this.
On the occasion of Sanjay's birthday, the makers of KGF: Chapter 2 unveiled his much-anticipated look. The actor plays the role of antagonist Adheera. Raveena will be seen as Ramika Sen, a character who is said to be the 'hero as well as the villain'.
KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is produced by Hombale Films and will be releasing in five languages that is Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and directed by Prashant Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 is produced under the banners Hombale Films and Excel Entertainment.
