Ansh Duggal has been grabbing eyeballs for his role as Dhruv in Don’t Be Shy and we can’t wait to see him in Nakhrewaalii as the young and dynamic Sumit Mishra.  In Nakhrewaalii, Ansh Duggal plays Sumit Mishra, a carefree small-town boy from Uttar Pradesh who arrives in Delhi looking to enjoy life. Charming, impulsive and far from perfect, Sumit has plenty to learn about relationships and understanding women.

“Sumit is a small-town boy from Uttar Pradesh who comes to Delhi with one simple goal, to enjoy life.” Ansh says “He’s carefree, impulsive, full of life, and someone who believes he can charm his way out of almost anything.”

Rather than judging Sumit's flaws, Ansh wanted to understand the innocence beneath them. “He’s not a bad person; he just has a very limited understanding of the world around him,” he explains.

The role also called for a transformation beyond his appearance. Ansh wanted to ensure that Sumit's personality remained intact, even as he took on a different identity. “The challenge was to make sure that even when his appearance changed, the person underneath remained Sumit,” he says.

At its heart, the film follows Sumit's changing perspective. As Ansh puts it, “*Nakhrewaalii* is about a boy who comes to Delhi wanting to experience women, but ends up experiencing what it means to be one.”
