The episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 begins with Mohini asking Prerna to try the saree she has bought for her. Prerna goes upstairs to change. Anurag realizes Nivedita is upset with him and decides to talk to Nivedita about it. As he is crossing the corridor, he finds Prerna struggling with the thread of her blouse. He tells her he will send Tapur to help her. Prerna asks Anurag to tie the thread but Navin comes to the room and tells him he would do it.
Anurag goes downstairs and tells his father that he doesn’t want to work on the project as his college exams are approaching and Moloy hands it over to Nivedita. Nivedita, Anurag, and Tapur give each other a hug. Prerna finds Anurag’s act sweet.

The Basus along with Prerna sit down to have dinner. Navin begins to talk about his honeymoon. Navin then holds Prerna’s hand and she feels uncomfortable making Anurag furious. He asks his mother to send food into his room as he has something urgent to do and as he goes upstairs, he hears Navin’s phone ring. He sees his girlfriend’s messages. Anurag replies to her asking her to come outside the house.
He goes near the gate and Navin’s girlfriend comes. Anurag manipulates her and asks her to come inside the house to meet Navin. Meanwhile, Navin reads his messages and wonders who tampered with his phone.
