Storyline
Years after resolving a legendary family feud and surviving house arrest in Punjab, Jassi Singh Randhawa (Ajay Devgn) returns — this time for love, not war. But when he reaches Scotland to win back his estranged wife (Neeru Bajwa), he accidentally lands in the middle of a hostage situation involving Raabia (Mrunal Thakur) and her dancer friends (Roshni Walia, Kubbra Sait, and Deepak Dobriyal). What follows is a hilarious ride of mafia madness, cultural confusion, and the quirkiest Sardaar wedding ever.
Acting
Ajay Devgn is once again effortless in his iconic Sardaar avatar. Mrunal Thakur, in her first full-fledged comic role, grabs all the attention with her charm. Deepak Dobriyal’s comic timing is on point, and Ravi Kishan is in terrific form, making the audience laugh every time he appears.
Direction
Vijay Kumar Arora carries forward the franchise with freshness. Despite the pressure of matching up to the first film, he delivers a version that's more relatable to today's audience and keeps the comedy engaging.
Dialogues
A comedy film shines with sharp comic timing, and ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ gets it right. The punches, especially the India-Pakistan references, are genuinely funny and add zing to the screenplay.
Music
The soundtrack complements every mood. From wedding beats to emotional moments, every song fits the narrative. ‘Pehla Tu Duja Tu’ especially stands out, and feels much more impactful when experienced in the film.
Overall
‘Son of Sardar 2’ is a complete family entertainer packed with humour, fun characters and chaos. It is a paisa-vasool watch for those who enjoy light-hearted comedy with a dose of desi madness.
