Board members (Shreyas Talpade, Chitrangda Singh, Dino Morea) set out to find Jolly. Enter three quirky couples, the men all claiming to be Jolly: Akshay Kumar-Nargis Fakhri, Riteish Deshmukh-Sonam Bajwa, and Abhishek Bachchan-Jacqueline Fernandez. Things take a wild turn with the murder trapping everyone in a hilarious whodunit. Enter Police Baba and Bhidu and Daagda (Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, and Nana Patekar), leading the investigation with comic chaos. The film offers two versions, Housefull 5A and 5B. Each with a unique climax and killer, urging fans to watch both. A surprise cameo adds the perfect finishing touch to this rollercoaster ride.

Acting

Akshay Kumar stands out. His impeccable comic timing elevates every moment he's on screen. Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan bring their trademark charm and shine effortlessly to their roles. The real surprise, however, comes from Baba and Bhidu whose chemistry adds a special flavor to the film. Nana Patekar lights up every scene he's in. The women aren’t just there for glamour, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Chitrangda Singh all have significant roles and make a strong impact. With 19 actors coming together, ‘Housefull 5’ becomes a complete package of comedy, chaos, and full-on entertainment.

Direction

Tarun Mansukhani knew he had a big responsibility on hand and he lived up to it with confidence and flair. Delivering sharp direction and flawless comic timing. Every punchline lands perfectly, and the narrative flows smoothly. Balancing a massive ensemble and two unique climaxes, he proves his command over comedy, making the film a fun, fast-paced, and entertaining ride.

Dialogues

The dialogues are sharp and perfectly in tune with the times. The true USP of the ‘Housefull’ franchise lies in its powerful punchlines and impeccable comic timing and this film lives up to that. Expect to spend at least 50% of the film laughing out loud, thanks to the nonstop humor and cleverly written one-liners that hit the mark every time.

Music

The music is already making waves. Songs like 'Laal Pari' sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Simar Kaur, 'Dil-e-Nadan' by Madhubanti Bagchi and Sumanto Mukherjee and 'Qayamat' by Neeraj Shridhar and Shruti Dhasmana are making music lovers dance. 'The Fugdi Dance' by Tanishk Bagchi and Kratex, deserves special mention.

Overall

It’s a must-watch family entertainer! And if you’re a fan of the ‘Housefull’ films, this one is absolutely unmissable. It’s complete Bollywood masala.
