Cannes 2018: Aishwarya Rai dazzles in a bespoke powder blue gown on Day 2

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a born stunner. Period. The actress and former beauty queen made quite a colourful statement with a dramati 'butterfly' gown by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco for her first red carpet appearance at the prestigious  71st Cannes Film Festival on Saturday. After slaying our mere existence with her ensemble, Aishwarya left us gaping for breath with her second red carpet outing.

She opted for a powder blue gown by renowned designer Rami Kadi. The Bachchan bahu dazzled in a matte pink lips, silver and nude eyes, and a dramatic mascara. She paired the look with hair tied in a fashionable bun. She kept her accessories minimalistic with just finger rings.

Yesterday, she walked the red carpet for the premiere of Eva Husson's French drama "Les filles du soleil", starring Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani. Before she went for the red carpet, Aishwarya was welcomed with a loud cheer from the crowd. She waved out and signed autographs, apart from gesturing the traditional Indian 'namaste'.
