We re-imagined Avengers in all its Bollywood glory!

The third Avengers blockbuster and the latest addition to the ever-expanding, all-consuming Marvel franchise is the most ambitious yet. Featuring a cacophony of superheroes, it will see the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Thor, Spider-Man and pretty much every other ancillary character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe join forces to battle the evil Thanos, who is intent on destroying the universe.

While everyone waits patiently to see what drama unfolds, Marvel fans have been having a bit fun during the downtime. Prasad Bhatt, an artist from Graphicurry recreated the Avengers: Infinity War poster with leading Bollywood actors from the 90s. Bringing some of that creative magic, PeepingMoon reimagined what the film would look like had it been made in Bollywood-ishtyle and quite frankly, it is amazing.

Sanjay Dutt - Thanos

Starting off with the Mad Titan, a.k.a Thanos, can you think of anyone more befitting than Sanju Baba himself? Courtesy: Agneepath. He personifies everything evil in the world with his look. Every nuance, every grimace, the wicked laughter and eyes cold as stone staring you down is frightening.

Shah Rukh Khan - Tony Stark/Iron Man

Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist and head honcho of Stark Industries, there isn't anything this Avenger lacks and is right up the Bollywood of Badshaah, i.e. Shah Rukh Khan's alley.

Aamir Khan - Steve Rogers/Captain America

A genetically modified super soldier who fought and sacrificed himself during World War II, Captain America is squeaky clean and a whitewashed character, "the good-est of the good" as many describe him. Aamir Khan is a silent knight when it comes to charity and donates big amounts without flaunting it. With innumerable good deeds under his name, no one can do justice to the Cap better than this Khan. As for the abs, Ghajini proves our point.

Salman Khan - Bruce Banner/Hulk

He may be a volatile pile of anger, but no one does shirtless better than Salman Khan. Only he can pull off being a bespectacled doctor in one scene and a giant green monster in another. We rest our case here.

John Abraham - Thor

If anyone can play this Viking Norse God, Thor then it's only the pretty boy of the lot, John Abraham. Those muscles are for flexing and wielding the Mjolnir. Besides, we can't think of anyone who can carry the bare-chested/skirted warrior suit.

Priyanka Chopra - Natasha Romanova/Black Widow

There is no two way to think about this one. Priyanka Chopra makes words like lithe and sinuous yet deadly make sense all at the same time which is why she fights the bill to play Natasha Romanova a.k.a. Black Widow. We have Quantico to prove that.

Ajay Devgn - King T'Challa/Black Panther

We don't see any reason why Ajay Devgn cannot play Black Panther. Rich, dark, tall, and handsome, Ajay fits the bill like no other. And technically, the actor has played a lion a.k.a. Singham before and quite honestly, the roles aren't that different: protector of his city just like T'Challa who protects Wakanda.

Amitabh Bachchan - Nick Fury

As the legendary Director of the international peacekeeping organization, S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury is humanity’s first line of defence against the world’s biggest threats. And there is no one we'd rather see play this Fury than India's beloved Amitabh Bachchan.

Akshay Kumar - Clint Barton/Hawkeye

One of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s most elite agents, the greatest living marksman on Earth and a man bound by honour and duty, Akshay Kumar will take the role of Hawkeye with ease. Besides, this man can hit the bullseye whilst falling down from a New York skyscraper. Know anyone that athletic?

Ranbir Kapoor - Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange

A neurosurgeon whose quest to fix himself led him to train in the arts of other dimensions, Ranbir Kapoor would suit best for the role of Doctor Strange.

Ranveer Singh - Peter Quill/Starlord

He may the one of the guardians of the galaxy but he still reigns the city of Mischiefville. Cocky space cowboy, Peter Quill can only best be played by the energy powerhouse, Ranveer Singh himself.

Deepika Padukone - Gamora

Just like Gamora, you wouldn't suspect Deepika Padukone to be a threat. Until that is, she busts out those skills we saw in Chandi Chowk to China. Like there’s even a question about it.

Alia Bhatt - Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch; Tiger Shroff - Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Being one of the youngest Avenger, young Alia Bhatt is the best choice to portray the character of Scarlett Witch. On the other hand, the acrobatics, the physique required to carry Spider-Man sees Tiger Shroff as a good fit.

Other Honorary mentions are:

Hrithik Roshan - Winter Soldier

Kartik Aaryan - Ant-Man

Shahid Kapoor - Loki

Aditya Roy Kapoor - Vision

Sidharth Malhotra - Iron Patriot

Avengers are assembling again and this might be the final time we see them together, so gear up because this cosmic ride is going to be a grand one. Helmed by Anthony and Joe  Russo, the film will hit the theatres worldwide tomorrow.
