From Khichdi 3 to Bepanah: Top 10 shows to look forward in 2018

With 2017 in the history and a brand new year to look forward to, TV is all set to ring in the New Year with brand news shows in reality as well as the fiction department.

Here's a list of the new shows in 2018 we've got our eyes on:

Khichdi Season 3:

Popular comedy show Khichdi is coming back with a brand new version. Apparently, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the show hit as the previous two seasons. The show which started in 2002 had a successful two-year run on TV. The second season, Instant Khichdi, came out in 2015.

Being the first Indian TV series to have a movie of its own, we can surely expect a lot of laughter coming your way with Season 3. Apparently, Renuka Shahanne, Ratna Pathak Shah is among the star lineup which make special appeareances in the new season.

Prithvi Vallabh:

Looking at the recent trailer of upcoming historical serial, Prithvi Vallabh; it can be said that it will be surely a visual treat for the viewers as the makers have invested a lot of money in grand sets and good VFX.

Sonarika Bhadoria and Ashish Sharma starrer show will bring viewers an untold story of Prithvi Vallabh who is a ruler dated to struggle for his country.

Dus Ka Dum:

After a gap of eight years; Salman Khan’s 10 Ka Dum is returning with its third season. The quiz show which introduced Salman’s witty and funny side of the Bollywood star to the viewers like never before is all set to make a comeback.

The Kapil Sharma Show:

Kapil Sharma, who was on a sabbatical from his show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is now back on small screen. In the coming season, the host-cum-actor is planning a major change in the show to woo the audience. Unfortunately, Dr. Mashoor Gulati aka Sunil Grover has refused to be a part of the new season.

Aap Ke Aa Jane Se:

‘Aap Ke Aa Jane Se’ revolves around a 43-year-old woman falling in love with a younger man with 20 years difference. Actress Suhasi Dhami who will be seen playing the lead in the show is all set to make her comeback on TV after a gap of almost four years.

Apparently, ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’ fame Karan Jotwani has been approached to play the male lead.

Belan Bahu:

Actress Krystle Dsouza is making her comeback on TV with serial, Belan Bahoo; a quirky family drama treated with humor. The show revolves around the lives of mismatch couple Roopa Awasthi (Krystle Dsouza) and Laado (Dheeraj Sarna) and how ‘belan’ plays a vital role in their lives.

Bepanah:

Actress Jennifer Winget who managed to steal millions of hearts with her negative character of Maya in ‘Beyhadh’ will be soon seen in a romantic drama, ‘Bepanah’ opposite Harshad Chopra. The show promises to be one of the most-greatest love stories to be told on Indian television.

India's Next Superstar:

Get set ready to witness a new talent hunt reality show, India’s Next Superstar judged by Bollywood personalities Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar. Apparently, the two winners will be rewarded with a three-film deal with Dharma Productions house.

Subhan Allah:

Triple Talaq has been one of the most controversial and discussed topic in 2017. And guess what; one of the production houses is all set to bring this controversial topic on the small screen where TV actress Eisha Singh will be seen playing the lead role.  The show will be based against the backdrop of Lucknow with a love triangle as its core concept.

Rising Star:

Bigg Boss 11 will be replaced by singing reality show, India’s Rising Star Season 2. This singing reality is one of its kinds, as the audience will be voting LIVE for their favorite contestants.
