Ed Sheeran landed in Mumbai two days prior to his concert and his fans and members of the Bollywood film industry can’t contain their excitement. The singer-songwriter will hit the stage tomorrow at 8pm at the Reliance Jio Garden, BKC. Ed became friends with Farah Khan the last time he performed in Mumbai in 2015 and Farah has planned a lavish rooftop party for Ed tonight.

The guess-list will include various Bollywood celebs like Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Sushant Singh Rajput and Malaika Arora. Shah Rukh Khan is expected to drop by post-midnight as well. It has been reported that special chefs have been flown down from Hyderabad to prepare mutton biryani and chicken tikka, among other Indian delicacies.

The party however will begin early as Ed Sheeran reportedly wants to be well-rested before his gig tomorrow. After his concert on Sunday evening, Ed is expected to go to Antilia, the posh residence of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, for the after party.

Ed Sheeran’s list of demands during his stay in Mumbai was modest in comparison to celebs like Justin Bieber who performed in Mumbai earlier this year. He asked for bottles of fruit juice, beer, honey, a plate of fresh vegetables and fruits. His only major demand was a special peri-peri sauce that had to be sourced from Singapore.
