Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas are enjoying the new phase of parenthood. They welcomed a baby girl named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas (unannounced yet) in January this year. Now, in a recent interview, Nick opened up about welcoming his daughter home after she spent almost 100 days in the NICU. Priyanka shared a lovely family picture with Malti and Nick on Mother's Day 2022.
Talking about the post shared by Priyanka, Nick said, "I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital. It’s eye opening in a lot of ways. And I think it was really important for us to just share that. And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone. And grateful to have a teammate in Pri who was a rock the whole time and continues to be."
As per reports, Priyanka and Nick's daughter, born out of surrogacy, was 12 weeks premature. In a previous interview, Nick spoke about Malti and said, "She’s a gift and we’re just so blessed."
Talking about the little girl in yet another interview, the doting daddy shared, "She has got a little heart face. She is the best, it's just been a magical season of our lives and also pretty wild. But it's a blessing to have her home, and it's wonderful."
