I Bet You Think About Me: Taylor Swift and Blake Lively smash ‘Red (Taylor’s version)’ featuring Miles Teller

After teasing their collaboration, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have unveiled the highly anticipated music video of the former’s song I Bet You Think About Me. The visual from Swift’s Red (Taylor’s version) From The Vault is from the re-recorded album that did not make it to her original 2012 album. The music video also sees Miles Teller as Swift’s ex, who is ridden with flashbacks of his failed relationship with the singer on his wedding day.

The music video shows Swift knocking off the groom figurine from atop the cake and proceeding to take a bite from it before the couple cuts it. It also shows her downing a glass of wine after giving a toast and goofing around with flower girls. The song is all about their doomed relationship that had no future as they come from diverse background. However, Teller’s character is unable to get over Swift and envisions her as his bride as he shares his first dance after the nuptials.

The six-minute music video marks Blake’s directorial debut. Matthew Libatique serves as director of photography on I Bet You Think About Me, while country music star Chris Stapleton lent his voice to harmonies.

Red (Taylor’s version) comes almost after a decade of Swift’s original album that had hits like 22, We Are Never Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble. The re-recording of her previous songs is a way for Swift to own her own music once again.
