Late actor Paul Walker's 22-year-old daughter Meadow Rain Walker got married to actor Louis Thornton-Allan earlier this month in the Dominican Republic. On Friday afternoon, Meadow shared a few pictures from her fairy tale wedding on Instagram but what made the fans teary-eyed was the fact that Vin Diesel walked her down the aisle in place of his Fast and Furious co-star and friend. Diesel is also Meadow’s godfather.
Besides a black and white video of the event, Meadow wrote, “we’re married!!!” to which Thornton-Allan replied, “Yes we are !!!” Meadow and Louis had gotten engaged in August. Besides Diesel, Gal Gadot and other Fast and Furious stars also congratulated Meadon on the wedding. Jordana Brewster, who played Paul Walker's on-screen love interest and Diesel's sister in the franchise, also received an invite.
Fans left emotional comments on the photos and video. One fan wrote, “Paul Walker would’ve been happy,” another said, “Vin walking down was so heartwarming. Paul is shining down.” “That’s what’s called best friend,” wrote another fan.
Paul Walker had passed away in 2013 after he was involved in a car accident sitting as a passenger. He was 40 years-old at that time and had featured in the first six of the nine Fast and Furious films along with Diesel. Earlier this year, Meadow had walked the red carpet in her father's honpur at the F9 premiere. Diesel had named his own daughter Pauline in Paul Walker's memory.
