No Time To Die marks the 25th film in the James Bond franchise. The film which is scheduled to release in November this year is lead actor Daniel Craig's last outing. Disappointed with the news, fans of the franchise were curious to know who will be the successor. While the makers are yet to issue an official statement, rumour has it that Tom Hardy will be donning the famous tux.
According to a report of a publication, Tom was offered the role in the month of June after his audition. The makers of the James Bond franchise had reportedly planned to make an announcement in November. However, due to a delay in No Time To Die's release, the announcement has been pushed forward. Workwise, Tom is busy with Venom sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which is scheduled to release on June 25, 2021.
Soon after the rumour did the rounds, Netizens were sent into a zone of excitement. One of the Twitter users wrote, "I think he would be a great choice , good actor, proven in action roles and has depth and range," while the other hoped the news is true.
