The representative for his mother Roger Widynowski told an international publication that Lisa is beyond devastated and is trying to stay strong for her daughter Riley Keough and 11-year-old twins Harper and Finley whom she shares with ex-husband Michael Lockwood. Widynowski said Lisa adored Benjamin and was the love of her life.

"She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life," Widynowski told.

As per reports, Benjamin died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. While not much is known about him, his uncanny resemblance to his famous grandfather made him the talk of the town. His mother Lisa, in a previous interview, said, "Ben does look so much like Elvis. He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage. Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny." She went on to write a song about Benjamin titled Storm And Grace.

Lisa, on June 21, 2019, shared a picture on social media with all her four children. "Mama Lion with cubs ," she captioned the picture. Lisa shared a close bond with Benjamin and they even got similar tattoos done on Mother’s Day 2009. On Twitter, she said it is a Celtic eternity knot that represents eternal love and connection.
