Amber Heard will testify privately against Johnny Depp for his libel case

Amber Heard is all set to testify against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp in the libel case behind closed doors, after claiming to be terrified of the internet backlash.

The Aquaman actress will present the 'sexual harassment' evidence to prove a daily's claim against Depp as the key witness of the libel case.

Depp is suing a leading daily and its editor for defaming the actor by using the term 'wife-beater' in one of their articles. Depp’s lawyers claimed Heard has been using 'salacious' comments to pull some limelight to this case. David Sherborne, acting for Depp, said Heard’s accusations would be proved to be “outright lies” and said they would need to be scrutinized 'very carefully'.

Adam Wolanski, who made the case on Heard’s behalf, ruled the nature of the 'sexual violence' claims being made by Heard meant she should be allowed to give evidence behind closed doors. “The matters which will be dealt with in private are of a different order to what has been made public so far. I am satisfied that there is good reason to treat them differently.”

Well, what are your thoughts?
