‪Welcome to LA! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry leave Vancouver Island and move to California

BAZAAR.com confirmed this morning that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have left Vancouver Island and officially moved to the duchess' home state of California. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in California.

A source confirmed to BAZAAR.com that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left Vancouver Island—where they have been residing since stepping down as senior members of the royal family—and are now based in the Golden State. Another magazine reported that the couple has been staying in a secluded compound in Los Angeles amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis and haven't ventured out as of late.

Rumors circulated in recent weeks that the couple was eyeing a move to Meghan Markle's hometown of L.A., though Prince Harry, Meghan, and palace officials never previously confirmed the news.

The relocation news would mean that Meghan, Harry, and their son Archie would be closer to not only Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, but also the duchess' close-knit circle of friends who have visited the royal couple in Vancouver.
