Coronavirus outbreak has left the entire world jittery, anxious and under self-proclaimed house arrest. Unlike anything, in the past, the COVID-19 pandemic has united the world and affected almost everyone except with one notable exception- Jared Leto. Leto shared on Tuesday that he had just emerged from a 12-day silent meditation in the desert with his family and was aghast to learn that in his absence the world has been turned upside down by COVID-19.
He wrote, “Wow. 12 days ago I began a silent meditation in the desert. We were totally isolated. No phone, no communication etc. We had no idea what was happening outside the facility. Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that’s been changed forever. Mind blowing - to say the least. I’m getting messages from friends and family all around the globe and catching up on what’s going on. Hope you and yours are ok. Sending positive energy to all. Stay inside. Stay safe.”
Leto’s statement is completely understandable and fairly horrifying. However, at the same time it is something that can only happen to Jared Leto (Remember his MetGala outfit where he carried a replica of his own head?). Well, nevertheless, his tweet has sent the Twitterati in frenzy as they just can’t help marveling at Leto’s situation.
