Oscar 2020: ‘Joker’ gets the most nods with 11 nominations followed by ‘The Irishman’ and ‘1917’; here’s the complete list

The Oscar nominations for the 92nd Academy Awards were announced live today by actor John Cho and Issa Rae. The Academy named nine nominees for Best Picture including Ford v Ferrari, The Irishman, Jojo Rabbit, Joker, Little Women, Marriage Story, 1917, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood and Parasite. Joaquin Phoenix starrer Joker got the maximum number of nods with 11 nominations, including Best Actor for Phoenix and Best Director for Todd Phillips. It was followed by The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood.

This year the Oscars ceremony will be the earliest in the Awards season and will be held on February 9 and will have no host as was the case last year. Check out the complete list of nominations in all 24 categories below:
