Jonah Hill to star as the antagonist in Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ opposite Robert Pattinson?

Robert Pattinson who is all set to play the Caped Crusader might have found his first co-star in his upcoming Batman film in the form of Jonah Hill. As reported by an international website the two-time Oscar nominee Hill is in talks to play the villain in the Warner Bros reboot The Batman. The deals aren’t final yet but the probability is pretty high of Hill coming onboard.

The film is directed by Matt Reeves and he has written the script of the film as well. It is not clear as to what famous villain Hill would portray in the film. Previous villains in the Batman cinematic universe have included the Joker, the Riddler, the Penguin, Scarecrow, Bane, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and Ra’s al Ghul, among others.

Besides Hill, it is also reported that Jeffrey Wright is in talks to play the role of Commissioner James Gordon. Although Gordon is an important and pivotal figure in the Batman universe, the role was made famous in the recent times by Gary Oldman who played the cop in Christopher Nolan;’s trilogy starring Christian Bale as Batman.

The Batman is set for release on June 25, 2021.
