Game Of Thrones Season 8: Twitterati reacts to the Mad Queen's gruesome attack with sordid memes and the fandom agrees

Game of Thrones season 8 has been a roller coaster so far and it's still staying true to its character!

Having said that, we are not particularly ecstatic about the episode that had been. And guess what, we are not the only ones who feel this way.

Can we talk about how Cersei deserved a better death? or how Jaime's death didn't do justice to his character?

While we understand that Daenerys sought revenge for all that has happened to her and her people, and how she had to constantly fight to win the throne back, we think her going rogue over King's Landing and killing the innocent commoners was a little against her usual approach to peace. Also, while we acknowledge that this was an ultimate power move to establish fear and respect for the Mother of Dragons in the eyes of the people, we wonder why she went rogue on the very people that she wanted to win over in the first place.

We loved how the Hound and the Mountain served their purpose of killing each other in this episode, but the fact that Arya backed away when she had the opportunity to kill Cersei left us a little stumped. From Varys' death to the attack on the red cloaks after it surrendered, the episode had its moments. But we're not particularly fangirling because a lot of things are still left unsaid and untouched.

The fandom expected a backstory to the many plot points that were left unfinished in the past seven series. But having reached the semi-finale, we have little expectations of the same, which again left them disappointed.

Here's how Twiteratti broke the internet with their uncontained emotions:
