Prince William, a father of three, too, shared his excitement for his 'baby brother'. He said, “I'm looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quieted down. I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!”
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news. Talking to the media, she said, “It’s really exciting for both of them. These next few weeks, it’s always a bit daunting first time around, so wish them all the best. It’s such a special time — with Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays. It’s such a great time of the year to have a baby. Spring’s in the air, so it’s really great. As William said, look forward to meeting him and finding out what his name’s going to be.”
Prince Harry had announced that both the mother and baby are 'healthy' and that he is absolutely ‘thrilled’.
