Parineeti Chopra says she didn’t get advantage in industry for being Priyanka Chopra’s cousin

Parineeti Chopra who was recently seen opposite Diljit Dosanjh in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ has been in industry for more than a decade ever since she made her debut with Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Ladies VS Ricky Bahl.’

Ever since it has been a roller coaster for Parineeti who has been an achiever of some notable projects at the same time did land in some which turned to be a box office debacle.

In one of the recent interviews, the actress was asked about her thoughts on ‘nepotism’ and if she feels being the cousin of global star Priyanka Chopra made it easier for her to make it into the industry.

Responding to the same, Parineeti said, "If being related to Priyanka Chopra could've helped my career, then I wouldn't have had any flops in my career. I've seen such lows in the last 10 years. “

She further added, "The comparisons will never end. So, what happens is, you can be a complete outsider, and it's very difficult to survive. Or, you could be related to somebody and get that first meeting, but after that, your journey is your own. “

Although Parineeti did admit that ‘favouritism’ does happen in the industry.
