Ace fashion and celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani's successful career has a lot to do with his brilliant ideas and ability to change and revamp a person into a different avatar for his calendar shoots, so unlike their own person. Which is exactly what he did for Vidya Balan.
In an interview with a leading daily news outlet, the star photographer spoke about his experience as a fashion photographer. When asked about the methods that help him come up with new ideas while shooting with a celeb, he responded, "As a photographer, you have to visualise what would suit that particular actor. You have to think differently."
Talking about his shoot with Vidya, the ace photographer said, "When I first shot Vidya, that time her image was very Indian. She had done Parineeta and people had a perception that she only looks good in Indianwear. So I decided to do something ultra-sexy with her."
The follow-up post the photoshoot? "After that picture, her image changed and people got to know that she can pull off a sexy role as well," Dabboo shared.
