Watch: Prime Minster Narendra Modi gives a glimpse of his COVID-19 yoga routine with an animated twist!


With the wrath of COVID-19 a.k.a the novel Coronavirus spreading like a wildfire, the world has sure come to a standstill. The government has observed a complete lockdown and advised to practice self-isolation in order to minimize the impact of this deadly virus. With gyms shut down for public use, many B-townies took it to their social media to share their workout routines in order to make this quarantine period a healthy one.

Joining the Bollywood brigade, Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi also gave us a glimpse of his workout routine, but in a rather quirky way! Check it out:

The Prime Minister shared a workout video with his followers wherein one could see his 3D animated version performing the yoga activities. During the latest episode of his radio show, Mann Ki Baat, someone asked him about his fitness routine these days which made him share this animated video. “During yesterday’s #MannKiBaat, someone asked me about my fitness routine during this time. Hence, thought of sharing these Yoga videos.  I hope you also begin practicing Yoga regularly.”

He further added that he is not a fitness or a medical expert but practicing yoga for all these years have proven to be beneficial for him. “I am neither a fitness expert nor a medical expert. Practicing Yoga has been an integral part of my life for many years and I have found it beneficial. I am sure many of you also have other ways of remaining fit, which you also must share with others.
