They say social media has the power to make, break and even change lives. Indeed, it’s true. From singing sensation Ranu Mondal to Baba ka Dhaba owner, we have seen some underprivileged people rise to fame overnight with the power of a social media network. While how these stories took a turn is something that we would not like to highlight but the point is, netizens from around the corner recognize the talent and help people find the much-needed platform through various online means.
One such story that recently came to the light was that of Kisbu. A young balloon-seller from Kerela, who rose to fame overnight as a model right after her epic makeover pictures went viral on the internet.
Originally a balloon seller, Kisbu was spotted by photographer Arjun Krishnan at Andalur Kavu festival in Kerala on January 17. He captured some of her pictures that soon went viral and received an overwhelming response.
After receiving a positive response for the pictures taken, the photographer approached the teenager and her mother. Both of them were delighted with the results thus leading to a full-fledged transformation and professional photoshoot helmed by makeup artist Remya Prajul. Preparations on the day of the shoot began around 4 AM when Kisbu was given a manicure, pedicure and facial. Being new to all of this, the teenage model was explained each process in detail to ensure her comfort.
