Environmental-friendly to cruelty-free, everything you need to know about Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ newly launched haircare line- Anomaly

Joining the bandwagon of actress-turned-entrepreneurs, Priyanka Chopra Jonas unveiled her first vegan haircare line Anomaly on January 31. As stated by the actress, the name of her haircare line defines, ‘something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected.’ Just like its founder, isn’t it?

Behind the great product goes greater creativity. Before its launch, Priyanka worked on her line for the last 18 months and learned a lot about haircare in that tenure. Understanding that we are all uniquely different individuals and our hair reflects that, she created different products that could cater to masses for their good hair days.

Believing in ‘- = +’ (Less equals more) ethos, PeeCee’s foray into the beauty biz was far more than just money-making. 'You've seen a lot of skincare be sustainable, clean, vegan, cruelty-free, but you haven’t really seen that in hair care much. I wanted superior products, no parabens, and sulphates, but super clean,' she told Elle US. The formula is 100 per cent vegan, not tested on animals and avoids the use of environmentally harmful ingredients like mineral oil.

Keeping the sustainable and cruelty-free mantra in mind, Anomaly consists of a deep conditioning mask, dry shampoo, and three different types of shampoo and conditioner. Not just this, all of the product’s packaging is made from 100 per cent recycled rubbish sourced from landfills and oceans. With lesser money invested its swanky packaging, the product is quite easy on the pockets with just under $5.99! Because as per PC, “Everyone should have access to great hair and it shouldn't cost us the earth!”

While we fashionistas are waiting for this BOMB to drop in India, Anomaly has hit the US market and is hopeful to make a UK debut soon.
